We are a network of catholics in Britain and Ireland promoting HIV prevention and support. We support people in the UK living with HIV through peer support ministry Positive Catholics. All are welcome

  • Mission statement

    We are a network of Catholics and Christians in Britain and Ireland, promoting HIV prevention and support. We seek to be a voice in the Church for people living with HIV or AIDS, and to be a Catholic voice within HIV communities.

    We promote and enable the peer supoport ministry called 'Positive Catholics' - a community of mutual peer support for people living directly with HIV infection, who also identify as Catholic or Christian. Or who are interested in joining us.

    Catholics For Aids Prevention And Support (caps) aims to:

    • To be a respresentative voice in the Church for people living with HIV
    • To be a Christian voice within communities and agencies affected by HIV and AIDS
    • To provide actual support through the peer ministry 'Positive Catholics' - an inclusive community of people living with HIV in the UK
