London Drama

London Drama is the Professional Association for drama teachers, lecturers, theatre practitioners and others concerned with any aspect of Drama/Theatre Education in London and beyond.

Founded 1955

  • Mission statement

London Drama seeks to promote, nurture and support drama and theatre activities in schools, colleges and other organisations across the capital and beyond. We are a membership organisation first established by teachers in London in 1955 and receive no external funding. We run courses and arrange conferences to foster understanding in drama and theatre and inspire our membership and the general public in the value of drama and theatre education. We also support the progress of drama by maintaining a stock of specialist drama books which are available for sale either directly or from our website. We like to work in partnership with other organisations, which currently include Goldsmiths Centre for Arts and Learning, National Drama, ACTiv8, and many small theatre companies, to deliver the best possible services that we can offer.
