Scarborough Survivors

A unique service user-led mental health resource centre offering social inclusion, support, information and advice to anyone over the age of 16 affected by mental health problems. We provide a voice for people with mental health problems to ensure that they get the services and support they need to stay as active and well as possible. At our resource centre members can participate in activities and access self-help and counselling services.

    To promote the relief of persons who have, or have suffered mental health difficulties, by offering assistance, support, information and social inclusion.
    By offering a safe place for people to attend and participate in activities. Campaigning on issues that improve the mental health of the population. Being the voice of the people whose lives are touched by mental health problems in Scarborough and the surrounding areas.

    • To make a substantial and continuous difference to the lives of those affected by mental health problems.
    • To strive for continued improvement in services for people who are affected by mental illness.
