A national education charity providing first class Musical Theatre workshops to young people, completely FREE of charge to the schools and individuals who participate.
The purpose of our charity is to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts of music, singing, drama and movement in all their aspects.
Arts Insight believes in the role of performing arts in improving children’s development in essential life skills such as confidence, communication, teamwork, discipline and self-esteem. Our work is proven to be completely inclusive for children of any age, culture, physical and mental ability. In a time where schools are struggling to provide these subjects within their curriculum due to financial cuts, it is Arts Insight’s aim to plug the gap and provide this essential provision to as many schools as possible.
The main aspect of our work is to provide primary, secondary and SEN schools with first class performing arts experiences, offered in the form of one-five day music, drama and dance workshops. Our work has a national remit with the aim of using performing arts as the vehicle to educate 1000's of children each year on a huge variety of social and educational subjects.
It was through a wish to concentrate solely on the educational and social benefits of music, drama and dance in schools that we created Arts Insight, so that a UK charity could exist specifically to roll out a programme of high-quality arts-based workshops.
