Sanctuary for Veterans (S4V) aims to provide support for injured veterans and their families to help with the transition into civilian life through education and training workshops and providing jobs

  • Mission statement

    This is an ex-military charity, our Mission is to offer Veterans and their families support and training to assist with the transition from military life to civilian life. Our service help empower our members to meet their challenges providing ongoing support to develop the individual skills required for transition into society. This service can be offered in both urban and rural areas in Cheshire.
    We provide training workshops for developing skills in I. T. , C. V. Writing, interview techniques, financial advice, improve self- confidence, nutrition and many other useful life skills.
    Self-employment opportunities are also provided as well as volunteering ranging from administration to outdoor activities and fundraising.
    Joe O’Connor (CEO) is an injured Veteran himself. He is therefore best placed to empathize and understand his fellow Veterans plight through his own first-hand experience. He is all too aware of the challenges which face Veterans. He is a master practitioner and trainer in (N. L. P. ) neuro-linguistic programming, timeline therapy and hypnosis. He provides a unique opportunity to improve the health and mind set of the individuals through one to one sessions and also group sessions

  • Aims

    Sanctuary For Veterans aims to:

    • To offer employment opportunities through a unique tried and tested training programme which has had proven success.
    • Reduce family breakdown and crime rates by using NLP and hypnosis therapy with the individual and in group therapy sessions.
    • Offer training, education and support to veterans in health , wealth and mind- set. To assist with the transition into civilian life.
    • Through collaboration and working with local community organizations we are able to link services with the appropriate people to offer continued support where and when needed.
