  • Mission statement

Fostering the spirit of the child
    by
telling a new story about childhood
Free-range Childhood: enabling children and young people and adults to experience learning and playing outside
    - restoring the connections with self, others and the earth.
    - providing children and young people (especially those in need, special needs, excluded and deprived) with outdoor learning experiences aimed at nurturing their potential and helping to make sense of the world around them
-offering training to parents, carers and teachers

All residential and non residential, activities, (programmes and sessions) take place outdoors in our grounds and include hands-on experiences usually based on Earth Education, which teaches ho the earth works and develops a lasting love and relationship for the natural world.

We aim to train parents, carers, teachers and youth leaders in empathic leadership.
We research the development of education from the heart and spirit and emotional learning, spirituality and well-being.

  • Aims

The Ringsfield Hall Trust aims to:

    • To tell the new story of childhood. Communities and the nation will rid themselves of the fear and suspicion of children and young people and live more harmoniously.
    • To enable children and young people to receive experiences and relationships with adults which help them grow and mature positively so transforming our toxic culture into a just and eco-centric one.
    • To foster the spirit of the child in children, their parents, carers and teachers, thereby increasing knowledge about positive transformative education, parenting and care in community life.
    • To champion the word and the needs of children and young people, lobbying for change where children are suffering and resist the unsustainable growth culture and live sustainably.
