We aim to create a space in which people at ‘crossroads times’ can, in a guided community, safely and deeply explore questions of purpose, meaning and identity to help them move forwards.
Our mission is to make this ‘crossroads space’ available, nationally and internationally, to as many people as possible, from all walks of life. People face personal “crossroads” through any number of circumstances; most commonly as a result of: a loss of job, a change of role or career, feeling they are in the wrong place and not fulfilling their potential, in need of a new purpose, coping with a personal tragedy or crisis, or needing to answer a question where they feel stuck. The retreats are delivered in a small group environment with a maximum of 10 participants and led by 2 experienced guides drawn from a professional coaching or learning & development background, who give their time for free. We provide the time, space, listening and support whilst participants individually and collectively address their big questions.
Crossroads Retreats aims to:
- To advance the education and training of the public - those who have been involved with career changes as a result of circumstances such as illness, bereavement or or redundancy or those starting out.
- The relief of unemployment for the public benefit in such ways as may be thought fit, including the provision of counselling.
- To relieve the charitable needs of people who are victims of drug and other forms of trouble, catastrophe or abuse, in particular but not exclusively through education.
