Blue Ribbon Foundation

The Blue Ribbon Foundation is there both to raise awareness of male health issues – particularly cancer and to use the Blue Ribbon as a ‘rallying banner’ to help bring about awareness of male health.

Founded 2011

  • Mission statement

It is our belief that by working together with other charities in education and awareness campaigns, many male lives can be saved. We believe that too many men are dying too young and unnecessarily.

We will provide a ‘signposting service’ for men and their families, pointing them in the right direction - towards help groups and other charities who provide specialised support.

We will work to raise awareness of male cancers and health issues, to encourage debate and, most especially, to gently persuade men to be more open about themselves and talk about the health problems that may privately be concerning them.

And remember - whenever you see somebody wearing a blue ribbon, they are aware and have made a contribution towards helping with male cancer and male health issues…
