    DAZL starts where children and young people are at. By offering fun, relevant and accessible dance opportunities we aim to improve health and wellbeing for disadvantaged and vulnerable 3-25year olds in Leeds. DAZL inspires and enables through five strategic strands of work:

    Participation - engaging inactive children and young people in physical activity and dance.
    Community Leadership - engaging and empowering local communities
    Partnerships - supporting and delivering the wider health agenda.
    Artistic Development & Progression.
    Celebrating Communities & performance opportunities

    Dance Action Zone Leeds (DAZL) aims to:

    • Primary Aim: To improve health and wellbeing through dance for disadvantaged/vulnerable children and young people aged 3-25 years in Leeds.
    • Secondary Aim: To improve health and wellbeing through dance for the wider communities of Leeds.
