It is a small charity that aims to help the disadvantaged children in the Philippines through education.

  • Mission statement

    Our mission is to create more awareness of our work. We want to improve our website and features a series of films which highlight what we have achieved so far and our plans for the future. We want to help the underprivileged children and young adult achieve their hopes and dreams, help their families escape poverty so that in time they can have a better quality of life.
    We want to ensure that the school has additional classrooms, facilities, text books and equipment it needs. Our mission is to improve the condition of the school, including the Library building currently a rice warehouse is being use so that the children and their parents can have the access to the books SIKAT has been able to send so far.

  • Aims

    Sikat aims to:

    • The School Project SIKAT is aided in the creation of the first and only Secondary school in 2005. This makeshift school was expected to cater to all Elementary graduates in the community.
    • Renovation of the Library building currently in rice warehouse. Its refurbishment is urgently required to improve facilities, to support education opportunities for the children and future generation.
    • To have a proper office facilities in order to create more awareness of our work, to recruit more experienced volunteers/ trustees,fundraiser, increase SIKAT's profile/ income through networking.
