Founded 1991

  • Mission statement

The North Lancashire Counselling Service is an entirely voluntary organisation set up in 1991 to help relieve emotional suffering by offering a confidential counselling service. Mostly, this means general personal counselling. Specialised cases, such as those involving drugs and alcohol, are normally referred to the appropriate agency. Adult clients are accepted regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation. Special arrangements are made for disabled clients. We never turn anyone away.
No charge is made for counselling although clients are invited to make a donation to help with running costs.

  • Aims

North Lancashire Counselling Service aims to:

    • To relieve emotional distress through counselling by offering a free, confidential service through the professionally trained counselling team.
    • To include all sections of the community including those people living on the margins of society and the less well off.
