Southampton Street Pastors

We provide patrols of uniformed volunteers on the streets of Southampton at night to anyone who is in need of care, helping them regain their safety, dignity, peace and comfort.

Founded 2010

  • Mission statement

Southampton Street Pastors exists because there are times when people on the streets of Southampton become vulnerable and need someone to care for them. This is often because they are drunk and alone, have become aggressive, or are distressed.

Our mission is to be available on the streets of Southampton to anyone who is in need of care, helping them regain their safety, dignity, peace and comfort.

We are a Christian charity - our vision is for the church in Southampton to be mobilised to action that is backed by prayer - for some to be out on the streets caring for people, demonstrating the love of Christ in practical ways whilst others are supporting them in prayer.
