  • Mission statement

Peterborough Male Voice Choir is an organisation of three choirs, the Male Voice Choir, a sister choir "Peterborough Voices" and Peterboroughh Youth Choir.

    The Male Voice Choir
Once a traditional Male Voice Choir, PMVC is now a modernised, effective male Voice Choir with over 60 singers and with a mission to sing to a very high standard. The other main mission of the choir is to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects. This mission is evidenced by the following two additional to our family of choirs:

    Peterborough Voices
A choir of over 120 women recruited only last year through a "Sing for Life" project, which raised nearly £4,000 for Cancer Charities, then was established as a full time women's choir, now developing into a high quality choir.

    Peterborough Youth Choir
A choir fully funded by the adult members to ensure children and young people in the Peterboroughh area are given the opportunity to join a choir, learn to sing a wide variety of music and to perform both on their own and with the adult choirs in large spectacular concerts with well known singing stars.

Our other mission is to hold excellent concerts that raise money in support of worthwhile good causes - since 2010 we have raised almost £20,000. 00 for national charities.
