Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service

We provide telephone support and information, together with face to face counselling to anyone over the age of 18 who has experienced any form of sexual abuse or violence at any time in their lives.

  • Mission statement

    To preserve and protect the health and wellbeing and relieve the distress and trauma of anone aged 18 years or over, who has experienced or who is experiencing any form of sexual abuse or sexual violence through the provision of support, information and/or counselling

  • Aims

    Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service aims to:

    • To offer telephone support and information and/or face-to-face counselling to anyone aged 18 years and over who has experienced or is experiencing any form of rape, sexual abuse or sexual violence
    • To publicise Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS) and raise awareness of rape, sexual abuse and sexual violence.
    • To provide appropriate and ongoing training for all CSASS volunteers and staff.
    • To liaise with and support the range of statutory agencies and voluntary organisations working on issues relating to sexual violence; so fostering effective multi-agency relationships.
    • To raise vital funds for the continuation and expansion of CSASS.
