The LATA Foundation

The LATA Foundation supports projects throughout Latin America. The organisation was set up by the Latin America Travel Association in 2008. All donations go directly to our projects. No admin costs.

  • Mission statement

    Charitable projects throughout Latin America ranging from clean water projects in Mexico and Nicaragua to supporting vulnerable children in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia and dental care in Argentina. We also provide training giving people new skills with which to generate an income at a sewing school in Puerto Vallarta, a project producing natural cosmetics in Guatemala and at a weaving project in the Andes. Conservation projects include a water and garden project in the Galapagos Islands and reforestation in Peru. We also have a turtle projection project in Venezuela.
