A BI-MONTHLY Programme of Nostalgic Oldies on USB Memory-Stick is sent FREE OF CHARGE to Visually Impaired Listeners. Music, Plays & Documentaries are included in the 14 day listen & return package.

  • Mission statement

    The National Music For The Blind Library contains over 5 million recordings, many of the tunes are no longer played on the radio. Our collection covers all types of music, plays, documentaries, comedy programs and recorded sound.
    The USB Memory Stick Service - each USB contains 5 main tracks featuring Merry-Go-Round 90 Minute Music Programme (in two parts), a Non-Stop Golden Hour of Music, a Documentary & a Play. Lending time before return is 14 days.
    All the Issues on USB are always available to request and have a 14-day listen & return policy.
    Our service is now also available via the Wireless For The Blind's SONATA service and our own tape service remains completely FREE, including postage.
    We rely solely on donations, there are no paid staff, we do not waste money on advertising and every penny donated goes towards ensuring the best quality output and the continuation of the free services.
