The Four Seasons Activity Group

The Four Seasons Activity Group is a community based charity (No: 1099112) which is completely lead by local volunteers, the organisation was set up to plug the gap in play/ learning activities across two deprived wards of Sunderland – Pallion & Millfield. We started in 2001, gained charitable status in 2002 and have been delivering high quality activities to local disadvantaged/ deprived children aged 5 – 14 years. There is no other affordable play provision for this age range for non – working parents, our members are mainly from non- working or low income house holds.

    To provide a range of leisure, educational & play activities for young people aged 5 – 14 years.
    To provide opportunities for family learning and leisure.
    To provide opportunities for residents in training and education around play work and volunteering within the community.
    To work with young people aged 8 – 14 years to plan and carry out individual and community challenges that boost confidence, wellbeing and community spirit.
    To support local residence as volunteer play workers and leaders to provide opportunities for training in a number of areas.

    The Four Seasons Activity Group aims to:

    • To continue to provide holiday play schemes each school holiday to our local children
    • To offer Summer camping trips & challenge & resdientials to our children
    • To offer family community days & trips to all local familiies
