The Caroline Walker Trust provides evidence based nutritional and practical guidelines to help the vulnerable eat well. We are an independent and expert voice in public health nutrition in the UK.

Mission statement
To promote public health through good food by:
- preparing and promoting practical and nutritional guidelines for vulnerable people in the UK (to date we have prepared guidance for under 5's in child care, school aged children, looked after children, children and adults with learning disabilities, older people and older people with dementia)
- raising the profile of public health nutrition for vulnerable groups
- lobbying for better support, training and monitoring of nutritional standards
- supporting and awarding others who work with these aims - encouraging graduate nutritionists in their future careers in public health -
Aims
The Caroline Walker Trust aims to:
- Write training materials to support those who help others eat well.
- Champion good practice around eating well through our awards.
- Prepare briefing papers on topics of interest.
- Publish nutritional and practical guidelines for groups across the lifespan.
