Mad Hatters Tea Party Childrens Charity Limited

Mad Hatter's Children's Charity is dedicated to bringing smiles to the faces of sick and disabled children across the Midlands, and 2016 is its 10th Anniversary.

Based in Solihull, we provide free fun and exciting educational days out for over 2000 children every year, working with over 90 special needs schools.

We also work with schools to help fund the specialist equipment they need, such as sensory equipment, wheelchairs, therapy cycles etc.

Founded 2009

  • Mission statement

Mad Hatter's Charity was started to provide fun days out for sick and disabled children in the Midlands and wider area.

We are passionate about what we do and want to make a difference to youngsters by giving them something to look forward to, the chance to interact with others and help them to make new friends and have new experiences (so far some 10,000 children have been to our Summer Party). We have various events through the year including a day out seeing Santa for over 300 children and charity bike rides but there are more areas where Mad Hatters can assist. We are in touch with over 90 'special needs' schools in the Midlands and help where we can with sensory equipment, wheelchairs and therapy cycles to increase children's independence and quality of life.

Social responsibility is an important aspect of all commercial activity today and the charity has links with many local businesses. Working closely with Mad Hatter's charity helps them to fulfill their commitment to the community. It is hoped to run many events throughout the year, with opportunities for companies and individuals to get involved and help local children - our reward is to see the smiles on the children's faces.

Only with the continued support from everyone will the charity be able to achieve its aims and contribute substantially to the welfare of special children throughout the Midlands area.
