King Edward V11 School Swimming Pool Trust

King Edward Swimming Pool was built in 1939 in a conservation area, and saved from closure in 1993 by the Trust.
The pool has been run without grants or subsidies for 15years but we now need to replace steam boilers, the air handling system and the roof at an estimated cost of £250,000. These changes would combine to solve aging problems with the building and benifit a greener agenda.
The pool is much used by the local community and City wide, providing a wide varity of activities to suit all.
We are also a leading part of the junior competition development system of the City.
