Heathrow Special Needs Farm provides a community farm environment with facilities designed for people of ages with various disabilities

  • Mission statement

    Our users are encouraged to participate in three main activities, Horse Riding, Animal care and welfare and gardening. We also welcome those who just want to visit the farm to look at our activities, maybe stroll through th sensory garden or take a break in our informal not for profit cafe.. Horse riding is an integral part of the Centre experience and we are a member of the Riding for the Disabled Association..
    Users grow a wide range of produce and flowers from seed and care for them until ready for harvesting. Users are encouraged to participate in the care of our 70 + animals which include goats, pigs, horses, sheep and other small animals. Users can groom and help maintain the animals surroundings.
