Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN), has been operating for over 20 years, providing support, advice and services to refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants living in and around Lewisham.

  • Mission statement

    Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) has been operating since 1991 and was the first organisation in South East London to support the integration of refugees in Lewisham and surrounding boroughs into mainstream society using a holistic approach to service delivery.

    The organisation is a registered charity and a company limited by guaranteed. Its vision statement, “Linking Communities Together” reflects our commitment to integration and highlights the importance of understanding and living within an increasingly globalised society.

    LRMN aims to support and empower refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to acheive positive outcomes for themselves, their families, and their communities as a whole. By imbuing skills and protective qualities through training and therapeutic support, LRMN seeks to assist people to become valued and intergrated members of the local community.

  • Aims

    Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network aims to:

    • To act as the voice for Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Migrants and Refugee Community Organisations (RCOs) demonstrating harmony in diversity.
    • To empower refugees and asylum seekers of their legal rights and entitlements by providing them in-depth immigration advice and representing them at the immigration tribunal.
    • To support refugees and asylum seekers to achieve their full potential economically, socially, culturally and politically.
    • To extend our current service provision to those who are most in need and develop new services by working in partnerships with organisations.
    • To develop a strong network of Refugee Community Organisations in Lewisham working together to promote the issues of refugees and asylum seekers and build their positive image.
