FN4M is Manchester’s interfaith forum. Our aims are to bring together people of different faith groups across the City to speak to issues of common concern, and to act as a voice for faith communities

  • Mission statement

    A) EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BELIEFS INCLUDING AN AWARENESS OF THEIR DISTINCTIVE FEATURES AND THEIR COMMON GROUND TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT FAITHS;
    B) PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT OF THE BELIEFS AND PRACTICES OF DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS FAITHS; AND
    C) PROVIDING A MULTI-FAITH CENTRE AND A RANGE OF MULTI-FAITH ACTIVITIES FOR THE GREATER MANCHESTER TO ENABLE THEM TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS FAITHS AND BETTER UNDERSTAND THEIR COMMUNITIES.

    The Faith Network For Manchester (fn4m) aims to:

    • EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BELIEFS - we organise events, conferences and workshops to promote better understanding of different faiths and community cohesion. In Your Faith in Schools
    • PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT OF THE BELIEFS- we hold meetings in different places of worship (churches, synagogues, temples, Gurdwaras etc) to promote respect for all.
    • PROVIDING A MULTI-FAITH CENTRE AND A RANGE OF MULTI-FAITH ACTIVITIES- providing a central physical space to showcase good practice of people of different faiths working to build stronger communities.
