Creative Futures transforms the lives of vulnerable children and young people through the arts. With the help of more than 200 of Britain’s leading artists we deliver sensitive, responsive and approachable arts activities for children, young people and communities. While always great fun, our sessions are also highly professional and focused on outcomes.
Creative Futures is a charity with a proven track record of delivering fun and inspiring music and arts projects that children from all backgrounds can take part in. We boost young people’s learning, build self-esteem and bring together families who feel isolated in their communities.
Creative Futures aims to:
- 1. To support education and training for children and young people, inclduing those with special educational needs or vulnerable people, through arts-based projects which stimulate learning.
- 2. To conduct research to better understand specific needs in the field of education; to devise activities that address these needs; and to advocate the importance of arts activity within education.
- 3. To devise and deliver projects for older people, the homeless, or those with long-term mental or physical health issues in order to raise self-esteem, and engage them with wider society.
- 4. To find new ways of embedding the arts, and in particular music, in people’s lives from a very early age through to the workplace and beyond.
