The Clear Sky Children's Foundation

Clear Sky has been established to support children suffering with emotional, behavioural or social difficulties through the use of Play Therapy - an effective and appropriate form of counselling.

Founded 2011

  • Mission statement

Clear Sky has been established to provide accessible, affordable specialist therapies to children suffering with emotional, behavioural or social difficulties. Play Therapy is an effective and appropriate early intervention for children with mental health difficulties that could be a result of sexual, physical or emotional abuse, bereavement, divorce or separation of parents, adoption or fostering, bullying or communication difficulties and learning disabilities such as Autism. These factors in a child's life could manifest as depression, anxiety, phobias, mutism, an inability to make friends, eating disorders and self harm to name a few.

We recognise the importance of helping children to work through these difficulties in the early stages of life so that trauma does not go on to leave a lasting negative impact on the child as they grow up.
