New College Worcester (NCW) is a non-maintained residential Special school and college for blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 11-19 years.

Founded 1866

  • Mission statement

    Underpinning all that we do is the recognition that a young person's needs are about more than just their visual impairment. That is why we offer every student a tailored programme of national curriculum education, IT training, mobility and Independent Living Skills to support them in reaching their full potential, both in and outside the classroom.

    Our students can also participate in and enjoy a vast range of leisure and outdoor activities. The result is young people who flourish, both as students and individuals.
