Founded 2008

  • Mission statement

The Tony Blair Faith Foundation aims to build respect and understanding between and about the major religions. Faith is vitally important to millions of people worldwide. It is central to many of the world's great movements for change or reform, including many charities.

The Foundation has two main priorities - Education and Social Action:

    Education

‘Face to Faith’ is a global education project for students aged 12-17. It currently links classrooms in 19 countries. Students learn directly from each other through joint projects, video-conference exchanges and an online community.

The Faith and Globalisation Initiative comprises a network of eight leading research universities around the world, plus many more associate universities. They analyse the interaction of faith and globalisation, and what it means for the future, presenting the findings to public policy makers and the wider world.

    Social Action

The Faiths Act programme empowers, supports and trains young people to take multi-faith action in support of the Millennium Development Goals, providing them with a positive alternative to those who try to use faith as a means to divide. With supporters in over 140 countries, our specific focus is malaria prevention.

Key innovation: Faiths Act in Sierra Leone - working with the country’s religious leaders to create an innovative, multifaith solution that will prevent deaths from malaria that can be further replicated in other countries.
