We believe that, wherever you are in the world, having independent, clear and accurate information is vital in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
NAM exists to support the fight against AIDS with independent, accurate, accessible and comprehensive information. We aim to create and disseminate information resources rooted in the experience of those most affected, enabling individuals and communities to take action and control in responding to HIV & AIDS.
Nam Publications aims to:
- Our work involves ‘breaking down’ complex, and often frightening, information into something understandable and reassuring, to improve knowledge and confidence about life with HIV.
- NAM aims to create a world in which access to accurate, up-to-date, and often life saving, information about HIV and AIDS is a right, not a luxury.
- We work to ensure that, no matter where a person is in the world, or what language they speak, they can access the information they need to understand their diagnosis, be fully involved in their care.
- Our purpose is to support people with HIV to live longer, healthier and better quality lives with clearly written, accurate, and vital health and wellbeing information
