'Teach a Child - Africa' (TaC) enables children who have been orphaned by AIDS to receive secondary education so that they can develop the skills to escape poverty and fulfil their potential.

    TaC believes that sponsoring academically promising orphans through secondary school and a higher education enables them develop the skills they need to fight poverty and reach their potential in life. By acquiring education and life skills they will become responsible members of the society and contribute to alleviating others’ plight.


    TaC's motto is "Education for Life". It is TaC's dream to educate as many orphans and other vulnerable children as possible in Africa.

    Teach A Child - Africa aims to:

    • To further any other charitable purpose that enables AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children in Africa to access education.
    • To advance education and training, among AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children in Africa, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of basic school necessities, grants and mentoring.
