The voluntary organisation, we work at the request of the Police to find and rescue missing or vulnerable people throughout South and Mid-Wales in both mountain and rural/urban areas using search dogs

    SARDA (South Wales) mountain rescue search dogs objective is to save life and relieve suffering and distress amongst persons endangered by accidents, or who are missing, on the hills or in open country or in urban areas, predominately in the areas of South and Mid-Wales and the adjacent English border areas.

    Sarda (south Wales) Mountain Rescue Search Dogs aims to:

    • To find missing and vulnerable persons in mountainous, rural and urban environments and to provide them with the immediate care necessary to their survival.
