Engalynx is an independent charity founded in 1998 to aid the orphans of the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. The help given is of a practical nature with financial control being maintained in Essex.

  • Mission statement

    Engalynx is dedicated to relieving poverty, sickness and distress to both widows and orphans in Rwanda. Also, to advance education/training of orphans in Rwanda, by the provision of equipment, clothing and financial assistance. All projects/aid to be undertaken only with the co-operation/request of local people.

  • Aims

    Engalynx aims to:

    • To enable orphans/vulnerable young people/children to be trained in life skills/work skills in order that they may have the opportunity to earn a living, have somewhere to live and to feed themselves.
    • To bring opportunities to widows/vulnerable women to earn either by training or setting up in small businesses.
    • To answer health needs of communities where there is established need and where possible.
