Durham Palestine Educational Trust

Aids the social and economic development of Palestine by offering scholarships for young Palestinians to study for Masters degrees at Durham University. 100% of all donations is spent on scholarships.

Founded 1984

  • Mission statement

Our main aim is to contribute to the social, economic and political development of Palestine through scholarships for Palestinians to study at Durham University.

The skills gained by Palestinians taking a Master's degree at Durham have an importance far beyond the students' personal and professional development.
The practical and research experience they gain will transform the lives of countless Palestinians when they return home.

Two scholarships a year cost 50,000 pounds but Durham University generously waives the tuition fees of about 26,000 pounds. The rest is raised by individual donations and fund-raising events. 100% of all donations is guaranteed to go to supporting Palestinian students. We have no paid workers. More information is available on our website at www. Dpet. Org. Uk.
