The Seeing Dogs Alliance

We provide blind and partially sighted people with professionally trained guide
dogs. Our dogs are health screened twice a year. The dormant charity was
relaunched with new management in 2001.

    To help blind and partially sighted people achieve independent mobility, and therefore a
    better quality of life, by partnering them with professionally trained Seeing Dogs, our term for guide dogs, each of which is matched with a human partner by taking into account the individual abilities and needs of both dog and human.

    The Seeing Dogs Alliance aims to:

    • The relief of persons with impaired vision by the provision of suitably trained and temperamentally stable guide dogs, alternatively known as Seeing Dogs.
