European Christian Mission (britain)

We want to see Europe transformed by Jesus. We want to see people's lives radically changed as they experience Christ's love. We exist to plant churches that will help make this happen.

Founded 1904

  • Mission statement

    ECM plants churches that -
    - reach out to students, migrants, children... Anyone!
    - care for all levels of society, including the poor and needy
    - bring love into communities and individual lives

ECM wants to bring Europe to life.

Why? Because it's currently estimated that 97% of Europe's population don't know Jesus.

Our strategy is to plant churches that can share life into communities and individuals and bring real change.

    - Currently we minister in 18 countries through more than 140 workers.
    - We are multi-national and multi-cultural, including people from as far afield as Brazil, Nigeria and Australia.
    - We are interdenominational, drawing members from a broad range of evangelical backgrounds.
    - We believe that Jesus loves the people of Europe. And because of that, we do too!

  • Aims
