Worcestershire Resource Exchange is a project of The Duckworth Worcestershire Trust. Launched in 2004 it provides inspirational and affordable resources whilst reducing landfill.

  • Mission statement

    The Duckworth Worcestershire Trust mission statement:
    To support the preservation, protection and improvement of the natural and built environment of the county of Worcestershire. Good citizenship amongst persons resident in Worcestershire who by reason of their social or economic circumstances are in need and who are unemployed or subject to a community service order.

  • Aims

    Worcestershire Resource Exchange aims to:

    • To provide affordable, safe waste materials, advice and training to a wide range of individuals and community groups.
    • Provide training, volunteering and work opportunities for students, volunteers, the unemployed and people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
    • Promote re-use and recycling, to reduce the amount of materials going into the waste stream.
    • Educate the public, schools, business groups and other organisations about incorporating waste minimisation and recycling, as part of their efforts to reduce their environmental impact.
