Edina Trust

The Edina Trust provides grants to support science education in primary schools in Scotland, Wales and England. The Trust selects a Local Authority area and offers small grants for science projects.

    To foster interest and excitement in science in children, and encourage an understanding of the value of the scientific approach to problem solving.

  • Aims

    Edina Trust aims to:

    • To promote and further in any way education in the community, community projects, support for families and social matters. The Trustees have decided to focus support on science education.
    • By giving grants or making payments or funding... whether of a capital or income nature, to beneficiaries either as individuals, families, groups or bodies for furtherance of any of the Trust Purposes
    • To purchase equipment or give grants for the purchase of equipment and for the provision of facilities... which in the sole opinion of the Trustees, can promote any of the Trust Purposes.
