This group has been set up specifically to raise money for Service Charities and to try and raise awareness for the charities that the group supports. To support local community initiatives.

  • Mission statement

    Western Desert Recce Group (WDRG), is an organisation with Charitable Status It was established by a group of serving Territorial Army Soldiers, who are interested in raising monies for various services charities and giving something back to the community. All of which are involved in learning, training, community and regeneration activities in Glasgow.
    We have the following aims:-
    * The advancement of education
    * The advancement of citizenship or community development
    * The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science
    * The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

    + and be able to offer more to the community and the respective charities that we recognise.
