Streetscape

Streetscape has been founded at a time when more than 1 in 5 (1m) 16 to 24 year olds are out of work. We are about growing lives by providing apprenticeships in our landscape gardening enterprise.

  • Mission statement

    Streetscape is about growing lives. We work with 18-25 year olds who are long-term unemployed to fulfil their dreams, by building the skills, experience and personal attributes they need to move into and retain work.

    We make this happen through providing apprenticeships in our landscape gardening enterprise: growing lives, transforming landscapes.

    We are driven by one, overarching aim: that each and every young person we work with moves into and retains employment. By the end of year two, our goal is to have provided apprenticeships to five long-term unemployed young people, with all of them having moved into employment; within three years, 20 people; within five years,45 people. We will also help many more through engaging in community projects that bring the opportunity for young people to gain experience of work and landscape gardening. To do so,our objectives are:

    • To provide first-rate apprenticeships, tailored to the needs of industry;
    • To provide a first-rate service to our clients;
    • To work to bring communities together in the places we work, and act as an example to others.
