Holme Village Hall was envisaged as a large hall for concerts, etc, with reading and recreation rooms for use by the villagers. The charity is run by volunteers whose primary purpose is to ensure that the hall is maintained and developed for use within the community.

The building consists of a large hall with a stage, a smaller hall, a kitchen and a social club and these are used by a variety of groups within the village, including the Women's Institute, Whist Club, Bridge Club, Mothers and Toddlers, Badminton, the Thursday Club, winter Indoor Bowls, Zumba dance classes and Pilates classes.

It is also available for hire for weddings, children's parties, concerts, seminars, large gatherings and many other events.

The car park is used by the mobile library, a mobile optician, blood donors and breast cancer screening as well as being available for users of the hall and has recently been resurfaced.

There are large playing fields behind the hall, which are used regularly by the village football team and many others. To the side of the hall is a children's play area and there is also a shelter on the field for young people to use.

The mission statement of the charity is to maintain and develop all of the facilities so that the hall and land are available for the village for generations to come.
