    Settle Stories seeks to lift the spirits, engage the mind and stimulate the imagination through storytelling.
    Aims:
    1. To promote and encourage excellence in traditional and modern forms of storytelling
    a. Run an excellent storytelling festival annually
    b. Commissioning new work
    c. Programming experimental work

    2. To nurture a storytelling community of tellers, audiences and enthusiasts
    a. Storytelling club
    b. Development of podcasts and handouts on storytelling
    c. Build skills through running workshops, residencies, seminars and conferences

    3. Raise the profile of storytelling
    a. National storytelling competition
    b. Media awareness
    c. Campaigning and lobbying

    4. To collect and document stories and storytelling techniques
    a. Documentation and collection of stories
    b. Develop storytelling resources

    5. To build a sustainable organisation
