AMIS runs a helpline to support men on the receiving end of domestic abuse and raises awareness of men's experience, through a website, presentations and training to any interested group or service.

    We believe all victims of domestic abuse, and any children involved, should be entitled to full recognition of their plight and good quality support to help them resolve the situation and move on with their lives. We believe this should apply to any person regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, health, dis/ability or any other attribute.

    Abused Men In Scotland aims to:

    • To ensure the voices of men who experience domestic abuse are heard, in confidence if desired, but publicly acknowledged as a very real issue to be taken seriously by all relevant agencies.
