The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. The Arboretum is part of The Royal British Legion family of charities.

    Our mission is to be the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country.

  • Aims

    The National Memorial Arboretum aims to:

    • Commemorate those who died for their country in the wars of the twentieth century and to be a unique haven of peace, contemplation and hope for the future.
    • Promote good citizenship among the public.
    • Promote the efficiency of the armed forces of the Crown.
    • Provide and maintain an arboretum as a public memorial to commemorate and remember those whohave lost their lives or suffered injury, in the service of the public.
