The National Motor Museum Trust is dedicated to preserving and promoting motoring history.

It has a world famous collection of vehicles and associated motoring items, photographs, books and film.

Founded 1972

  • Mission statement

    Our vision is to offer the best, most representative and accessible collection of motor vehicles, motoring artefacts and archives telling the story of motoring in Britain.

    The Trust also has an educational mission to inspire, inform and educate visitors of all ages and abilities about motoring in Britain. We have an extensive programme of activities for schools and children's interest groups.

    We are an Accredited Museum which was awarded 'Designated' status in 1997.
