Linaker Links Community Trust

Linaker Links Community Trust has been established to further enhance and develop the range of community services available to seaside town of Southport. We offer free training classes and activities.

  • Mission statement

    For some time now, we have been developing and implementing a whole host of training and community activities, making them widely available to all within the community.

    Our aim is to increase social integration and understanding within the community through engagement in activity groups, projects and cultural experiences. Our next project is the development of a luncheon club , something which is currently missing in the community and is desperately needed to support the elderly in the area. Along side this we hope to run a computer centre to teach those who either cant afford to learn or have no access, we need funding for these projects desperately, please help if you can!

    Linaker Links Community Trust aims to:

    • Support for the Unemployed: -Building confidence and self esteem -Improve skill base by offering free English & Math courses -Support in applying for and seeking employment
    • Support for Teenage Parents: -Access to multiagency advice and support - Community Specialist Midwife Trustee - Provide support through and after pregnancy
    • Support for the Elderly: -Reduce Isolation of the ever increasing high percentage of elderly within our area. -Identify and value their contribution to the community -Encourage integration
