Malaria No More UK
Malaria No More UK
Malaria No More UK is an innovative charity working tirelessly to end suffering and deaths from malaria.
Malaria No More UK saves lives through high-impact awareness and fundraising campaigns and by making strategic investments in Africa where over 90% of all malaria deaths occur.
Thanks to the support of partners, donors and fundraisers across the UK we are able to tackle malaria head on; so far we have supported net distribution and malaria education campaigns in Ghana, Botswana and Namibia that helped protect over five million people. We are now continuing to make sure everyone in malaria risk areas who needs a mosquito net, has one and knows how to use it; and that malaria is accurately diagnosed and treated.
At the same time we’re working hard to maintain and strengthen the UK government’s leadership in the fight against malaria. In 2010 we helped secure manifesto commitments from all three major UK parties for the first time and influenced the coalition government to place malaria at the top of its international development agenda.
We also create engaging communications campaigns to inspire the UK public to support the effort to end deaths from malaria. 66% of the UK public now believe that malaria is a very serious development issue.
Malaria No More UK aims to:
