Founded 2000

  • Mission statement

We are the only provider in East Sussex of Conductive Education. This is a system of learning which builds upon children's existing abilities and skills and helps prepare them - and their families - for tackling the challenges of everyday life more independently.

We first began working with two children in autumn 2008. Today, we offer three Conductive Education sessions for under-fives each week (up to four children per session) and over 30 families are registered for our Holiday Clubs and "Saturday School" for children aged 5-12. The emphasis is on developing children's physical skills (e. G. Walking, sitting, balancing, eating, drinking) however we also focus on sensory, social, communication and language skills. There's lots of fun, with singing, games and artwork, all in a friendly, "family" atmosphere. Conductive Education also provides much-needed support to parents and carers, as they learn how to help their children become more independent at home.
