The Newhampton Arts Centre provides opportunities for engagement and participation in the creative arts for all parts of the community in the Wolverhampton area.

  • Mission statement

    The Newhampton Arts Centre believes that taking part in creative arts contributes to personal growth and happiness and stronger and vibrant communities. Everyone should have the chance to take part in the arts and share their enjoyment and achievements with others, regardless of their age, social or cultural background, ability or income.
    The NAC aims to provide opportunities for engagement and participation in the creative arts by providing
    • affordable, multi-cultural, arts-based events
    • inclusive, appropriate and congenial facilities for the arts at an affordable rent
    • opportunities for local people in creative arts, media and related activities
    • opportunities for young people, children and families to participate in the arts
    And by maintaining the economic viability of the Centre to sustain the delivery of arts opportunities.

    Newhampton Arts Centre aims to:

    • To provide access to the performing arts for children and young people.
    • To celebrate and share the arts of the diverse cultures in Wolverhampton
    • To provide creative arts opportunities for older people
    • To include disabled adults and children in arts activities alongside their peers
    • To provide arts opportunities for families on low incomes.
