  • Mission statement

We provide help, support, encouragement and impartial advice to the physically disabled, their families and carers. We do our very best to ensure every disabled person is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve in order to make choices about their daily lives. We maintain an information database covering all aspects of concern to disabled people. We issue regular newsletters to all members to keep them advised of NAD activities. We seek funding from charities, trusts and foundations which support our aims. We maintain close contact with our district committees and support them in every way possible. We ensure one group of people is not treated less favourably than others because of their sex, colour, race, religion, nationality, ethnic origin or disability.
