Founded 2007

  • Mission statement

The aims and charitable objectives of the club will be:
    • the advancement of children’s participation in sport, by
    • providing a safe environment for the children to participate
    • ensuring fairness throughout
    • encouraging enjoyment and social aspects within the team environment

Gartcairn Football Academy was formed in 2007 with the ethos of those who wish to play shall play. Within the airdrie area we suffer from deprivation and the ethos ensures that no disadvantaged child is refused entry to the academy. Our ethos also ensures that no child is told they are not good enough to play football which many other teams do on a regular basis.
We aim to keep these children healthy and active and also in the long term we hope that the interaction of the children at a young age ensures that when they get in to teenage years the gang culture is eradicated to some extent. We also ensure that respect from everyone within the academy is taught in the hope that we can also help remove the distint lack of respect towards elderly people or people in general is quashed to some extent.

Any pledges you make will go directly to the children - All of gartcairn volunteers are unpaid so none of your money will go to line the pockets of anyone within the academy.
Thing of the smile that child will have running out on training nights/game weekends with the help of your donation.

Please help us to help the children remain active, healthy, respectful and confident individuals.
