We are the only charity devoted to the creation of new and the restoration of existing public sculptures that are available physically or visually throughout the UK.

Founded 1990

  • Mission statement

    To encourage the availability of existing and new monuments and sculptures for the pleasure of citizens and visitors to the United Kingdom. To complete the National Recording Project, surveying all our public monuments and sculptures from the medieval to the contemporary.

    To help restore existing public monuments and sculptures which have fallen into disrepair. To award the annual Marsh Sculpture Award to an outstanding new public sculpture.

    Public Monuments and Sculpture Association aims to:

    • The completion of the National Recording Project in partnership with English Heritage to establish the first ever national database of public sculptures throughout the UK.
